TEN will fast-track news US series Zoo, based on the novel by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge, just a day after the US.

The series follows a wave of violent animal attacks against humans sweeping the planet and stars James Wolk (Lone Star, Mad Men), Kristen Connolly (Revolutionary Road), Billy Burke (Twilight), Nora Arnezeder (Safe House) and Nonso Anozie (Atonement).

Animals once ruled the world. What if they decided to take it back?

Jackson Oz is a young renegade American zoologist. He spends his days running safaris in the wilds of Africa with his best friend Abraham, who has a deep understanding of wildlife.

Shortly after the attacks begin, Oz begins to see a link between the strange animal attacks and his late father’s controversial theories about impending threats to the human race.

As the assaults occurring worldwide become more cunning, co-ordinated and ferocious, Oz races to unlock the mystery of the pandemic before there is no place left for people to hide.

Thursday, July 2, at 8.30pm on TEN.
