The Returned, the US adaptation of French drama Les Revenants is not returning.
A&E has pulled the pin on the series after just 1 season.
The drama debuted to just 1.5 million US viewers and finished with under 1 million viewers.
The adaptation was helmed by Carlton Cuse and featured Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jeremy Sisto, Sandrine Holt, Agnes Bruckner, Kevin Alejandro, Mark Pellegrino and Aussie Sophie Lowe.
It screens in Australia via Netflix.

I don’t get why they couldn’t just show the French show. It was almost shot-for-shot identical anyway.
I was also looking forward to S2. sad its not returning..
Nnnnoooooooo…….I just finished binge watching this. I was looking forward to season 2. Hopefully Netflix picks this up.
