Killing Season drives up ABC
Ratings: Sarah Ferguson's doco pulls another big audience on Tuesday, but the night goes to Seven.

Part 2 of Sarah Ferguson’s Killing Season documentary drew another big crowd. At 90 minutes it pulled 968,000 viewers and won its timeslot. Even SBS shows such as Insight and Dateline were noticeably lower as a result.
It lost only a small portion of its audience from the preceding week, at 986,000 viewers.
Shares for the evening were evenly spread across all networks, except SBS, with Seven winning the night.
Seven won with 26.6% then Nine 25.7%, TEN 22.4%, ABC 20.4% and SBS 4.8%.
Seven News (1.01m / 949,000) was best for Seven. Next were House Rules (1.00m), Home and Away (814,000), Million Dollar Minute (581,000) and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (518,00 / 361,000).
Nine News (1.24m / 1.13m) topped the night. Next for Nine were A Current Affair (983,000), Love Child (772,000), Reno Rumble (719,000) Hot Seat (678,000) and a Married at First Sight repeat (325,000).
MasterChef Australia (1.1m) won its slot for TEN. The Project was 705,000 / 536,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 617,000, NCIS was 612,000, NCIS: LA was 489,000 / 306,000.
The Killing Season (968,000) led for ABC then ABC News (889,000), 7:30 (695,000), Foreign Correspondent (672,000) and Antiques Roadshow (414,000).
On SBS ONE it was Britain’s Oldest Family Businesses (238,000), SBS World News (164,000), Food Safari repeat (144,000), Insight (132,000). Dateline was 107,000.
ABC2’s Peter Rabbit hopped up the multichannel ladder to 278,000.

Mornings: 121,000 / 87,000
Studio 10: 78,000 / 50,000

Why do folks gush so about this Ferguson person? Quite mystifying really. Unless of course, they’re impressed with her brusque, gruff and clipped manner of interviewing.
Was Insight a replay from the week before? I could have sworn that this lady said the same exact thing, but according to their website it was Part 2.
Last nights insight was a rerun of an episode that aired last year so that may have also had an impact on its ratings.
