Multichannels give Seven ratings edge, but…

Nine was in front on primary share, but multichannels gave Seven the week by just 0.3%. TEN scores in 2 demos.

It was a tight week between two rivals last week with just 0.3 splitting Seven and Nine.

In the end Seven fell over the line but only thanks to its multichannels. Nine actually finished above it in Primary Channels. But a win is a win.

Meanwhile TEN was up by 2.4% and won in 16-39 and 18-49 Demos. Nine won 25-54.

Seven News (Sun: 1.14m) was best for Seven. House Rules (Sun: 971,000), Sunday Night (849,000), Highway Patrol (833,000) and Border Security (733,000) also rated.

Nine News (Sun: 1.38m) was the top show of the week. Married at First Sight (1.29m) and Reno Rumble (1.23m / 982,000) were next.

MasterChef Australia (Tues: 1.22m), Modern Family (Ep 2: 664,000) and The Project (7pm: 654,000) were best brands for TEN.

The Killing Season wrapped with 976,000 for ABC then ABC News (Sun: 964,000) and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (804,000).

On SBS ONE it was RocKwiz (354,000), Secrets of the Manor House (349,000) and Who Were the Greeks? (293,000).

Seven won Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Nine took Monday and Tuesday. ABC only bettered TEN on Saturday.

Seven claimed victory in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth while Nine scored Sydney and Brisbane.
