After weeks of losses to Seven, Nine has won the week in Total People -but only just.
Network:
Nine: 29.0
Seven: 28.3
TEN: 19.6
ABC: 16.1
SBS: 7.1
For Seven to finish so close in a State of Origin week is particularly impressive. With Timeshifted numbers due in a week’s time, Seven could gain ground, as it did earlier this year.
But there’s no denying Nine’s State of Origin (Match: 2.34m / Pre Match: 1.59m) pulled the biggest audience so far this year. Next for Nine were Nine News (Sunday: 1.29m), Married at First Sight (1.11m) and A Current Affair (982,000).
Catching Milat (1.46m) was best for Seven, followed by Seven News (Sun: 1.46m), House Rules (Reveal: 1.07m) and Home and Away (748,000).
MasterChef Australia (Tues: 1.15m) remains strong for TEN. Other brands were Modern Family (743,000), NCIS (743,000) and Have You Been Paying Attention? (623,000).
Best for ABC were ABC News (Sun: 903,000), Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (783,000) and Australian Story (703,000).
Eurovision Song Contest (Final: 592,000), Great Continental Railway Journeys (301,000) and Simon Reeve’s Caribbean (276,000) led for SBS ONE.
Primary channel:
Nine: 21.2
Seven: 19.7
TEN: 14.2
ABC: 11.9
SBS: 6.1
Multichannels:
GO!: 4.8
7TWO: 4.4
7mate: 4.1
GEM: 3.0
ONE / ELEVEN: 2.7
ABC2: 2.5
ABC News 24: 1.1
SBS 2: 0.9
ABC3: 0.6
NITV: 0.2
Nine won the demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
Nine won Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Seven took Sunday, Friday and Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Friday & Saturday.
Seven was victorious in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine held Sydney and Brissy.

Thanks again David.
Thanks David, can you tell me if this weeks makes it 2 or is this week number 1.
1. The other week won was lost in Timeshifted to Seven.
Wow it was close, to say that nine had a strong lead with State of origin they obviously did not have much else to follow up with, and without that good result for Wednesday night they would definitely have lost the week again. How many of the ratings week so far this year have nine won?
