  1. The app was on my Samsung TV (48″ Series 6), so thought I’d give it a run seeing that I have a T-Box and got the 6 month free deal. Compared to the T-Box version of Presto the Samsung App pales in comparison, biggest problem is it doesn’t have a watch list on it like the T-Box version. So if you’re going to binge a series and lets’s say it’s an older show (like Spirited), each time you want to watch you have search for the show each time, sure I can continue using the T-Box version, however as an App to get people to sign up it is left wanting.

  2. Bugger, my TV is a 2011 model and I would have at least done the trial to check it out. Ah well, just have to wait and see if they bring it to my FetchTV box.

  3. I’m curious that with more devices being supported if they’re ever going to raise or change their frustratingly limited device restrictions. That’s the main reason why I stopped using them.

    1. HD is coming in a couple of days/weeks. I was scrolling through the movie list last night and for a few seconds I got a HD option button on a couple of the movies before it refreshed.

      1. That would be news to Presto, who have stated they’re not getting it any time soon.

        1. That link was from 2013. Current discussions on the Presto website, Facebook and Twitter accounts, are saying that an announcement will be made very soon. A user asked about HD on May 31st and the response from Presto on Facebook was ” HD is a feature that the Presto service is looking to release shortly. We do not have a release date just yet however as soon as an update is available we will share an annoucement via the Presto Community (presto.com.au/community) and social media. Cheers smile emoticon” Also under Apple TV, a rep has suggested that Presto will be avaliable via Apple TV within “the next 29 days or less” community.presto.com.au/t5/Suggestions-Tech-and-Service/Apple-TV/td-p/2303/page/7
