activeTV, producers of The Amazing Race Australia, Prank Patrol and Carols in the Domain now has the local rights to celebrity variety show, I Can Do That!
FremantleMedia Australia formerly held the rights to the Israeli format which sees celebrities master Live skills including juggling, hula hoops with fire, magic and visual challenges.
A US version on NBC has just enjoyed a strong launch, winning its slot and demos, with a 13% year-on-year increase for the timeslot.
Starring Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and host Marlon Wayans it reached the best numbers in the slot for any NBC summer premiere over the past 3 years.
It is also currently in production in Italy, Brazil, Spain, Finland and Mexico.
activeTV has confirmed it is currently in discussions with broadcasters regarding a local version.

Explain purple rinse? I’m intrigued.
Elderly women predominately apply a ‘purple’ rinse to their hair to reduce the illusion of it being grey!
More commonly known as blue rinse – Wikipedia it, I cant seem to paste a live link!
For examples see Dame Edna, Mrs Slocombe (Are You Being Served?) etc
Sounds like Nine’s “Celebrity Circus” – with much added padding to stretch out the running time to 90 mins an ep
B, C & D grade celebrities start sending your CVs now.
Sounds just like the program Ch 7 and their purple-rinse audience would watch
Best of luck to them *cough*
