Stan has forged an agreement with Telstra which will see it offered alongside Presto within broadband bundles.

The new offer includes six months free access to Stan and Presto when they sign up to a a 24-month contract on Telstra’s M, L or XL bundle, and follows a previous deal with Vodafone.

The deal comes despite Telstra’s 50 per cent ownership of Foxtel, which owns half of Presto with Seven.

Stan CEO Mike Sneesby told Mumbrella, “When we launched the Vodafone partnership (in February) there were lots of questions about would this be the only partnership.

“We were very open about the fact we would continue to talk to all the major telco players around broadband.”

Sneesby told the website he expected SVOD players to align with various telco combinations.

“I think it is something we will see with all players in the SVOD space – continuous discussions with all players about bundling product.”

  1. Does this mean Stan won’t use my data if I’m on a BigPond plan? And can existing members get the 6mths free? Cause BigPond is doing that with presto
