WA Screen Awards: winners

The 27th Annual WA Screen Awards were held at the Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth last night, hosted by comedian Joel Creasey.

The red carpet featured Michael Caton, Jeremy Sims, Nelson Woss, Ningali Lawford, Ben Elton, Sally Burton and musician Abbe May.

SBS documentary musical Prison Songs by Kelrick Martin and Harry Bardwell, won four gongs while ABC’s The War that Changed Us took one.

The WA Screen Awards, which recognises excellence in feature film, short film, web series, music videos, television production, documentary, games and interactive productions, merges many of its categories into long and short form.
