I will be watching, my brother and I always have a good laugh at some of the letters (and authors) published each week.
Whilst I haven’t listened to the podast in this article, podcasts are a good alternative to watching tv and should be seen as competition to watching tv. In the last couple of months of ratings and summer in 2014 where in particular 7 and 9 went MIA in content offered, podcasts provided a good alternative to fill the void and have continued being an alternative through the incessant reality offerings. Networks seem to be only concerned about competition from rival networks but should be concerned about other entertainment mediums that are taking viewers away. Even google recently has said people are spending 40mins in a session on youtube. Thats the length of a tv show.
