ABC has pushed Joanna Lumley’s Trans-Siberian Adventure premieres in the schedule from next Tuesday night, after delaying Making Families Happy.

The three-part series has just premiered in the UK.

The series sees Joanna travel from East to West, departing from Hong Kong across 5777 miles of both Asia and Europe, through seven time zones, taking in an immense panorama of vistas and cultures, people and places, before her final arrival in Moscow.

“This is Hong Kong. I was here when I was a little girl and I haven’t been back since. And I’m about to start on one of the most exciting journeys you can make on land. Which is through China, Mongolia and Russia on the Trans-Siberian Express. We’re going to end up in Moscow, where I was last in the mid 60s when I was a model, in the grip of the cold war. I can’t wait to begin.” Joanna Lumley

8.30pm Tuesday July 14 ABC.

  1. It starts here in the UK tomorrow night (Sunday).

Starting it earlier will tie in well with Joanna Lumley’s appearance on The Last Leg on Wednesday night (in Australia).
