No surprises here, but Doctor Who has been quietly renewed for another season.
The confirmation was hidden away on page 32 of the BBC Worldwide Annual Review.
Matters listed as under review in the past year include “investments in The Musketeers S3 and Doctor Who S10″.
Digital Spy reports we’ve known since February that The Musketeers would be returning for a third series, but this is the first official confirmation of more Doctor Who – to air presumably in 2016.

I look forward to the next regeneration. As much as I wanted an older Doctor, I think Capaldi was a mistake.
It would help if his grumpiness was paid off somehow.
Going by all reports this season will see some changes so I’ll reserve judgment until the end of the year, I think Capaldi is a nice change but we need a lighter tone at least some of the time.
Think it’s a little early to be thinking of who will be the next Doctor.
Always good to get confirmation.
I did see an ABC promo for the new season of Doctor Who but it just said ‘coming soon’, still hoping for a Sunday morning time slot just after it airs in the UK, then rerun in primetime Sunday night.
