  1. How did Serena Williams win at Wimbledon rate. I know it was on late on a Saturday night so I guess I’m not surprised it’s not in the top 20 but she was going for her 4th major in a row. I guessing the men’s will feature though.

  2. so the 5th highest rating show on a cold, wet, dark saturday night in the middle of winter is a gardening programme watched by approx 2.5% of the population and one of the head honchos from freeview issued a press release which I read on this site a few weeks ago stating netflix and other options were just fads. Wow, talk about looking through rose tinted glasses.

    • A lot of fragmenting going on last night with sport on multichannels or in select cities. The average of a longer broadcast is also likely to be lower rather than higher. So while it doesn’t push into Top 5 it still drives an evening. You can see this by comparing ABC network share to Seven and Nine.
