  1. Pretty good result by the F1. Throughly enjoying the coverage, seems to be a great pickup for Fox Sports. It was an exciting race last night- thankfully it’s advert free!

    • Maev....Sydney

Not good for all the viewers who do not have or want pay TV…..for one show….
And I feel not as many viewers as they would have on FTA…..

  2. it was bang on time according to the epg .. Not sure what it was advertised as .. Strong result for 60 minutes was due to the Alex McKinnon rugby league interview which had been getting good media AirPlay all day

  3. bettestreep2008

I’m surprised House Rules and MCA still rated so well considering it was up against the contestant in the wheelchair on The Voice.

And memo to Ten – can you imagine how much better the MCA ratings would have been if you offered something other than Modern Family repeats at 7pm? Instead viewers flocked over to The Voice and stayed there rather than flick over at 7.30pm to watch MCA.

    • Load of hogwash. The voice is a strong franchise, despite dropping from its lofty peaks in prior seasons, so no matter what Ten showed prior would really add to MC. MC did really well considering the competition. Plus kudos to Ten to sticking to its schedule and not swapping in/out shows.

      • Watched Masterchef on 10.
Recorded The Voice on 9 and watched it after Masterchef.
Watched Tour de France on my Tablet at the same time, until The Voice recording was viewed, then switched to SBS30 live until Andre` Greipel did his bit 😉

        • Something glitched and that is not where I wanted that posting. Too late 🙁
Anyway – Some programmes appeal to the public, even if the produce no stars in the end. It is about the judges and viewers like it that way. Nine knows best how to suck in the viewers with their effective promo’s. I agree Ten must stay as they are and not play with the schedule one iota. Of course the can go back to introducing sob stories into their show but last time they tried that it failed. Masterchef is brilliant this year – so stay on course Ten – you have the best program imho. 🙂

  4. Secret Squïrrel

How much of 60 Minutes’ numbers are due to The Voice running over. I didn’t watch but I’d bet my left one that 60 Minutes didn’t start at the advertised time.
