15 Comments:

  1. Watched Masterchef on 10 and the Masterclass.
Recorded Cyling and watched it straight after Masterclass finished.
Recorded Doc Martin and Lewis on 72 for another day.

  2. No way should it be on Nine – live, free and blurry – even if GEM outrates Nine – this is a good thing. Good to see Nine as a network using the multi channel rather than treating them like secondary channels all the time. Was so annoying with Wimbledon to have it on 7two then switch to Seven later – why not just keep it on 7two for the whole time – everyone who gets Seven also gets 7TWO.

Surely by now the number of people who can’t get GEM would be small in any case.

I remember the first time GO! hit 10% – was a normal Saturday night with movies.

    • Tonight in Melbourne it’s Cricket on Nine, NRL on GEM and Liverpool vs Brisbane Roar on GO! couple that with the AFL on Seven like you say and numbers may be down a little to normal. As to below, yes on Saturday GEM is showing the Roma V Real Madrid match, so Cricket on Nine again.

  3. @ bettestreep2008 – No way should the cricket be on the main channel in SD. All sports lovers have been crying out for live sport to be in HD. Thank god nine have done the right thing on this occassion.

  4. bettestreep2008

Is this the first time a secondary channel clocked up double digits?

I’m surprised Nine didn’t put the cricket on their main channel. I am sure they would have received even higher ratings than they did screening it on Gem.
