7 Comments:

  1. Watched Masterchef on 10.
Recorded The Voice on 9 and watched after Masterchef.
Watched some recordings as no cycling Tuesday rest day.

  2. Really enjoying Joanna Lumley’s Trans-Siberian Adventure.
Gorgeous scene and Joanna is so down to earth and likeable.
Looking amazing as well for her age…

  3. Australian drama is a major casualty is this year’s audience decline. Re-commissioning tired series like Winners and Losers is not going to work in this fragmenting market. Nine may well find themselves in the same position when House Husbands returns. Networks love franchises because they can return the same idea for years with a few tweaks and adjustments. Drama is not like that – it needs to be new, fresh and original – that is the point. The ABC’s recent announcement of returning five series means next year’s drama will look a lot like last year’s drama – and that is very dangerous.

    • Agree.
Networks need a little bit of imagination and be prepared to take a risk with something fresh and new.
Trundling out tired, hackneyed old series like Winners and Losers and House Husbands every year is very uninspiring… the ratings for W &L appear to reflect that viewers have become bored with soapies such as these..

      • When the best drama from all over the world is a click away watching the same people go around in ever diminishing circles is not a value proposition.

  4. bettestreep2008

Good ratings for MCA – but there wasn’t really much competition was there?

Was pleasantly surprised by Amy Scheumer on The Project but Ten might be in trouble with some of the language she used in the early timeslot.

Thank goodness she magically appeared later on the Graham Norton show and continued with her deliciously foul mouthed comedy.
