On the weekend News Corp reported that the Big Brother house was being dismantled, signalling a long winter for the famed Reality show.
But a later report via AAP quoted Dreamworld CEO Craig Davidson denying the news.
“The Big Brother house at Dreamworld is currently not being dismantled and is still available for further productions,” he said.
So who is right and who is wrong? Both.
TV Tonight can reveal there is some dismantling of technical equipment to be warehoused given the show is not likely to be resuming anytime soon.
But the Big Brother house itself is, as Craig Davidson advises, not being dismantled and is available if the show is revived.
Sources indicate all could be restored should the show be renewed.
Nine is yet to make a decision on its prospects for the series which continues to enjoy success overseas.

Nine killed off the BB brand years ago. Turned it into something it was never intended to be.
My thoughts are with all the local crew now without work
Wait – foreigners are lapping up a boring bunch of Aussie dullards?!
No, local versions.
