Next month Law & Order marks 25 years since its US premiere.

The long-running Dick Wolf series ran for 20 seasons before ending in 2010, spawning the spin-offs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Law & Order: LA and international versions including Law & Order: UK.

Asked about the possibility of a revival, Creator Dick Wolf said this week, “Nobody knows what the future holds, including what’s happening on Law & Order. As you’ve heard, everybody wants to do it.

“Most of the people involved are very successful in their careers and to try to get everything in sequence is much more difficult than it looks on the outside. I am always an optimist. I would love to do it. I think I speak for the network; they would love to do it. If we can make it work.”

  1. It maybe the 25th anniversary of the show going to air but it only ended 5 years ago, I know very little effort is put into new series but too soon!

  2. Maybe a one/off telemovie with the last season’s cast? The whole ep based around a shocking trial. Cameos from previous cast members. Or a murder concerning a previous cast member. Inserting flashbacks/cameos.

  3. Dick Wolf can bring it back and have a Chicago Fire,P.D & Med + Law & Order SVU and Law & Order crossover.
He’s already doing the first 4 crossover in Feb.

Be good if they bring back Chris Noth,Paul Sorvino,Sam Waterston,S Epetha Merkerson and Angie Harmon to be in it
