Seven has confirmed further titles for it’s “Super September” as it seeks to turn around a disappointing August.

In addition to titles already announced (Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, 800 Words, The X Factor, The Chase, Heroes Reborn, Quantico, The Player and What Really Happens in Thailand) it has confirmed:

Beach Cops
The heat is on for the police men and women who work the busy beat of Sydney’s iconic Northern Beaches, where the beaches are packed and the bars are pumping.

Gold Coast Medical
This gripping series captures all the challenges and triumphs of a day in the life of the Gold Coast’s biggest hospital.

Mesmerised
Laughter, mischief and mayhem unfold as world-renowned stage and television hypnotist Peter Powers and his subjects wreak havoc on an unsuspecting Australian public.

Seven’s Director of Network Programming, Angus Ross, said: “New, fresh and different. It’s our most compelling quarter four ever.”

  1. These shows are better aired when the US shows are on break. Do proper fast tracking. You know. Within 24 hours, consistently without moving things and actually trust your viewers for once may actually lead to long term loyalty.

  2. I have really missed the 7 “fan boys” on this site during August. Especially the comments that bag Nine for copying the other channels. This story is yet another example……they all do it!!

  3. Beach Cops = Gold Coast Cops transferred from Qld. to NSW
Gold Coast Medical= Kings Cross ER (and a few others) transferred from NSW to Qld.
Mesmerised – “New, fresh and different”. The Power of One meets Revesby Workers’ Club.
Better renew Netflix for another month, Joyce.

  4. Good to see less focus on reality with the exclusion of X-Factor. I have no problem with factuals as long as they don’t take things out of context and drag out stories. We’ll have to see if Super September can make up for Awful August.

  5. Season 3 of The Blacklist starts in the US in September.
Although it’s very unlikely 7 will fast track it.
They stuffed a good series by delaying the screening of it too long.

  6. “Beach Cops

So they wouldn’t let you film on Bondi Beach, eh?

  7. Restaurent Revolution flopping could be a blessing in disguise for Seven and show TV execs that a varied mix of programming, not the same thing every single night, is actually what people are craving.

  8. Still waiting to hear if greys anatomy will be fast tracked. None of these shows look like must watch tv. If 7 wants this viewer it needs to do way better. It all looks a bit blah.
