Report: Twin Peaks reboot filming in New York

According to media reports the Twin Peaks reboot is filming already, despite Showtime confirming it would begin next month.

“Hundreds of people” and filming trailers descended on Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn on Sunday, with owner Michael Halkias confirming, “We are under total occupation.”

The campy French Renaissance-style palace offers 1890s glamour, antiques, chandeliers, floral displays and rococo detailing. It has previously featured in The Royal Tenenbaums.

Early reports indicate Lynch himself was yet to be spotted.

The Showtime-produced series is expected in 2016.
