This week on The Feed, dangers of mustering with helicopters, controlling wild dogs and the push to overturn a murder conviction.

Cowboys of the Sky
Cowboys of the sky. Reckless or dangerous? In the world of outback mustering, helicopters have replaced men on horseback and transformed the culture of the Australian cattle industry – but at a high cost. Some pilots say they’ve lost count of the number of muster pilots they’ve known who’ve crashed and died. Is it simply a dangerous job, or does something need to change?

Wild Dogs
Wild dogs are slaughtering sheep outside a country NSW town, but it’s not known how feral or dingo they are, nor how best to control them. While farmers are shooting to kill, conservationists say regardless of being feral or not, the ecosystem needs an apex predator. Andy Park travels to Murrurundi to explore this issue.

The Folbigg Files
Could the conviction of “Australia’s worst child serial killer” Kathleen Folbigg be overturned? Andy Park talks to Folbigg’s friend and Lindy Chamberlain’s defence counsel, about why there is a push to review the case of a convicted murderer who killed four of her babies.

Weeknights at 7:30pm, on SBS 2.
