As expected, Nine has now confirmed The Hotplate grand final will take place next Wednesday at 7:30pm (ahead of The Block‘s launch on September 6th).
Here is an edited summary of what’s to come in a  2 hr finale (yep, seriously):
It started with six restaurant teams across Australia. The Hotplate pushed local food heroes to the limit and delivered sensational food. But the pressure of transforming their restaurants took its toll and now just two teams remain.
Tonight the final two teams will have to cook the best dishes of their lives, four courses in four hours judged by Tom, Scott and guest judge Guillaume Brahimi who will each score out of 10.
$100,000 on the line, who will win The Hotplate?

Really….who cares?!?
One load of rubbish to be replaced my another load of rubbish
Have quite enjoyed Hotplate.
Most are pretty mediocre cooks but an entertaining mix of contestants and like the fact that it hasn’t dragged on for too long.
Hope the Asian girls win – Emi is the best cook by far and so passionate.
She is so animated – reminds me of a very cute cartoon character.
Oops – meant to say Marie.
No doubt will be coded as “The Hotplate: Finale” (1st hour), “The Hotplate: Grand Finale” (second hour) and “The Hotplate: Winner Announced” (last 5 minutes).
When TV networks code their shows in different parts, does that mean they get more money?
Nope.
Is there any reason to code shows then?
