    • Seven’s EPG hasn’t been updating start and finish times for days. I take it’s something to do with the launch of the racing channel because programming for that has just come on and the EPG is updated for tonight. Here’s hoping they get it right permanently!

  1. The TV Tonight poll shows just how discerning the majority of it’s readers are. The majority rate The Bachelor Australia as trash, which of course it is, yet it was the top rating non news program last night. We watched the ABC from the 7pm news until the end of Utopia. Utopia was eleventh in the ratings which is pretty good. Also noted that ABC news is closing the gap on 7 news which is well behind 9 news.

    • Majority is a strong word that should only be used when there is 100% sampling rate and true evidence. Any other poll is just a guess that can be close at times and far off at other times. 😉

I think 9 management need to sit on a Hotplate for a few minutes to get them to realize how little fun it is to watch and Australian Viewers are bored with that show. Soon another Block LOL. That is enough to do your block so to speak. I hope it all fails totally and Nine will have to look at other programming than that Block show running almost all year long.

  2. Watched the Bachelor on 10, with my wife and Sam is a very nice guy. Handles things with honesty and sincerity. Maybe that is why the ratings are so good. Viewers are sick of nasty psychos on their TV’s.
Recorded the old New Tricks episode on GEM and watched it after The Bachelor. Still love the actors on the older series a lot. 🙂

    • the ratings have nothing to do with Sam Wood at all. Its from the previous Bachelor (Blake Garvey) who has made the show bigger and better then the previous years.
