  1. Hi David, It’s called ‘Cheap Tuesdays’ at the movies. The local video store also has ‘Cheap Tuesdays’: $2 DVD hire. Currently watching Breaking Bad series 4 (I am hooked). Series 5 and then the final to go!

    • bettestreep2008

Dan – if it wasn’t for the oldies and the fact that RR is no longer up against it , Hotplate wouldn’t be rating as well as it is.

And I think Seven has a good shot at winning the court case. HP is pretty much a carbon copy of MKR and the only difference is that the bitching couples are ‘professional’ cooks and not’amateur’ and there are 4 judges instead of 2.

Will be interesting what happens to HP if Seven does win the court battle. I think Nine will appeal it and it’ll still be in the courts after the show ends.

As for me – I didn’t watch any TV cos I went to the movies instead. Thanks to all the crap reality tv I discovered the joys of going to the movies on a weeknight.

    • DanR, Oldies would prefer quality scripted programs any day of the week over the mindless glut of Reality television that is on the 3 FTA networks at the same time …..

  2. Enjoying The Bachelor (it’s terrible but at the same time I can’t help but watch it – it’s like a train wreck – you don’t want to watch but you have to look!). Glad it’s doing well in the demos for 10. Keep it up 10. Nice to know you’re doing well after MCA.
