Next week Nine premieres new David Attenborough-narrated series, Life Story.

The six part nature series will feature two episodes next week.

This six-part series reveals the challenges animals in the wild face at various stages of life and how they overcome obstacles thrown at them by their environment, enemies and their own families. From creation to death, we see the constant fight for survival from the perspective of the animals themselves.

This captivating documentary takes us from land and sky down into the oceans. From South Africa to Hawaii and the islands of the Caribbean, Attenborough traverses the fascinating life cycle of animals across the globe: First Steps, Growing Up, Home, Power, Courtship and Parenthood.

Life Story comes from the acclaimed Natural History Unit of the BBC, the world’s largest production company dedicated to wildlife film making, with Creative Director Mike Gunton executive producing many of its landmark programs.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature and discover how the gift of life can be so giving, yet so tragic, throughout the animal kingdom when David Attenborough narrates Life Story.

Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9 at 8.40pm on Nine.
