  1. We have the Presto bundle are currently watching Mr. Robot, The Affair and next will be Wentworth.
Movies watched so far: Philomena with Judy Dench.
Quality is very good, using Google Chromecast. I recommend that people use the supplied power supply for reliable results. USB ports are often limited in supplying adequate power.

We also use Sony Crackle service which is free.

Still want to see what is on Netflix be4 signing up 🙂

NBN fibre to the home from TELSTRA from October 13th. Install on the 12th. We are very lucky 🙂
That will allow more HD streaming and multiple units streaming as well as casting to Chromcast device.

I highly recommend the Google Chromecast USB device as it works very well and easy to install.

If you use Google Chrome to search for streaming sites then they will have the Cast symbol and you can cast signal to your TV with the Chromecast…

  2. I currently have Netflix because it works on anything.
I really did enjoy Stan’s offerings, but the problem is you can only get it through computer and some portable devices, which is no good to me.

While I use the computer, I mainly use my Xbox One to watch content.
Netflix has an Xbox One app, Stan doesn’t have any app for any console.
That’s the key reason why I don’t use Stan.

Heck, I used the streaming service called CrunchyRoll more because it worked on consoles as well as PC. (For those who don’t know CrunchyRoll is an anime-based streaming service. Australia has its own one called ‘AnimeLab’, but like Stan it doesn’t support many platforms so I didn’t bother).

Platform support is critical in this space and international services just do a better job.
Only Quickflix offers app support, but Quickflix is terrible so I don’t bother anymore.
