An upcoming NRL show, based in Brisbane, is on the hunt for two / three Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as hosts.

Independent Indigenous production company Carbon Media is set to air the (32 x 90’) entertainment series nationally from February 2016 on NITV.

“In the current TV landscape, live television is a real anomaly so League Nation Live presents a truly unique and exciting experience aimed at all Australians, bringing them the best of the NRL, as well at the latest and greatest in entertainment”, said Wayne Denning, Executive Producer, Carbon Media.
Now League Nation Live needs you!

League Nation Live is a slick and fresh entertainment show, which spotlights the nation’s favourite football code, the NRL. From big league personalities to the who’s who in show business, League Nation, will have them up close and personal, live in the studio.

The search is on for two / three Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to host the show each week. Ideally the new hosts have worked in TV but might have a theatrical background or may yet to be discovered possessing a natural affinity for screen with a big vibrant personality. Most importantly, they must be a genuine fan of NRL and have a love of sport.

  1. This will be a great companion with Marngrook, and about time, given the heritage of indigenous players in rugby league. The problem is now where to schedule it, with Marngrook taking up 90 minutes on Thursdays.

  2. The article said “In the current TV landscape, live television is a real anomaly” but there is too much sports/entertainment(if you can call it that) live TV shows.

I know it’s nice that there is an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders but frankly 1 is too much live sports entertainment shows.
