The Big Bang Theory will begin airing on 7mate from October 5th,  launching with Season 3.

Seven is brashly pitting the show at 7pm -where it previously aired on Nine and GO!, after it acquired the rights from Warner Bros.

US observational shows Storage Wars, Counting Cars and Ice Road Truckers will also screen on 7mate next month, as part of the channel’s new primetime schedule.

On Tuesdays, follow the drivers of the US and UK ratings hit Ice Road Truckers as they brave the treacherous paths, frozen lakes and perilous whiteouts of the Arctic. Straight after is the American muscle car fix up hit, Counting Cars, starring Pawn Star’s Danny ‘The Count’ Koker.

On Wednesdays, it’s a southern spin on the popular Vegas reality series, Pawn Stars, in Cajun Pawn Stars, with the Louisiana based pawn store showcasing its quirky characters and eclectic array of historical merchandise.

And on Thursdays, take a look inside the high-stakes world of storage unit auctions in the US ratings hit Storage Wars. Each episode is filled with drama as the bidders assess if they think the unit is worth a bid… and how high they will actually go. Then explore the thriving subculture of cashless trading in Barter Kings, as these larger than life characters trade up items of little value to be worth thousands.

  1. Just a genuine newbie question – but does the “stripped” * format mean that the show is trimmed of opening and closing credits and multiple episodes are jammed together to allow more advertising? Or is it something else?

  2. 7Mate are starting with Season 3?
I thought Season 1 would have been the better call.

I thought the replay rights that Seven has got contained Seasons 1-7.
So there is absolutely no reason for 7Mate not to begin at Season 1 Episode 1.

  3. David, do you know what has happened to TMZ or TMZ Live as its disappeared from GO! completely. Was that part of the Warner Bros. deal that ch7 has now? I have asked on facebook but I get no response from anyone at GO!
