Talented Insiders editor Huw Parkinson has created another clever video parody, this time using Indiana Jones to tell the tale of the toppling of Tony Abbott.

Yesterday, during a business lunch in Nelson, NZ PM Mr Key said he would have found it ‘exciting’ if he was holding the event in Australia “We know the Prime Minister’s coming, we just don’t know who’s going to turn up”. A half-term Tony, whose main claim to fame is he’s the only PM who never lived in The Lodge. In the interests of a “balanced view” the national broadcaster has devoted several hours already to Malcolm-programs. Kitchen Cabinet, etc., reruns. Tonight Malcolm will take over 7:30 and Australian Story and 4 Corners. Bill Shorten will have Q&A. You have to laugh at what passes for Australian government. No one, anywhere, takes it seriously. That parody, like his others, is excellent. Almost as funny as Mark Riley’s attempted interview of Abbott on Parliament House lawn some time back.
