24 Comments:

  1. I was disappointed that ABC main channel did not have regular programming….
There was no need to run the same as ABC News 24…..
Plenty of results coming up on FB and news feeds…

  2. Stuck with the ABC last night for this most important event, that of ousting our worst ever PM. Excellent coverage by the ABC.
Interesting that the first half hour of The Chase rated 720,000 and the second half, which was up against Hot Seat, rated only 520,000, whereas Hot Seat rated 620,000. Round one to Hot Seat, I would say! Watched only a little of The Chase. Couldn’t stand Andrew O’Keefe any longer.

  3. Are those figures for Media Watch and Q and A on ABC 2 or they the number of people who were watching on the main channel at that time? Just wondering if they were coded as originally programmed?

  4. Interesting night 🙂
Recorded TBL Families to watch another day.
Recorded XFactor and watched after 22:30 when we turned off ABC24
Watched ABC 24 from 5:30 to about 22:30 re: exciting news in politics 🙂
Seven and their production house for XFactor have been very clever and found some real talent and that will make the show succeed. People are sick of seeing people who can not sing at all being shown at the early stages. Not this year – so win for Seven 🙂

    • Younger people do not like watching the news.
Older people trust ABC the most to present it fairly and unbiased.
So no surprise younger viewers watched stuff on Ten 🙂

  5. I tried to watch The Chase Australia on Plus7 and they put 6 ads after two minutes of program during the last contestant. No wonder commercial TV will be dead by the end of the decade. These guys have got no idea.

    • To me Nine have the most Ad spots and during The Voice after every song.
If 7 and 10 try that they get howled down?
Having a think about that for a minute 😉

      • If you’re streaming a show you don’t expect six ads every break and the program coming back for two minutes before another six commercials. I streamed The Voice on Catchup and (depending on when it was streamed) it was a lot more acceptable. Since I got a point and click remote for the TV this is the first time I’ve been bombarded with commercials and I’m not happy.
