Returning: Switched at Birth

Season 4 of Switched at Birth begins on FOX8 next month with the first 13 of its 20-episode season.

These episodes premiered in the US in January.

Switched at Birth tells the story of two teenage girls who discover they were accidentally switched as newborns in the hospital. Bay grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother. Meanwhile, Daphne who became deaf at an early age grew up with a single mother in a working-class neighbourhood. Things get complicated when the families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls. Season 4a sees Bay facing the fallout of covering for Daphne. Meanwhile, Daphne begins college, leaving Regina worrying about having an empty nest.
