Screen Producers Awards 2015: nominees

Deadline Gallipoli, Glitch, Family Feud, The Secret River are amongst nominees in the annual producer awards.

Deadline Gallipoli, Glitch, Family Feud, The Secret River, Redesign My Brain and Gogglebox Australia are amongst TV shows nominated in the annual Screen Producers Australia Awards.

Production companies vying for gongs include FremantleMedia Australia, Shine Australia, Matchbox Pictures, Cordell Jigsaw, Screentime, ITV Studios and Playmaker Media alongside smaller companies including Ruby Entertainment, Every Cloud Productions, High Wire and Princess Pictures.

“This year we received a record number of entries, highlighting the commercial strength of the current Australian film and television industries. The Awards acknowledge the creation of outstanding screen content across various mediums and the incredible contribution of our Production Businesses,” said Executive Director of Screen Producers Australia, Matthew Deaner. “We look forward to celebrating with all the finalists and industry in November.”

Winners will be announced at the Palladium at Crown in Melbourne, on Thursday, 19 November 2015 as part of the 30th Screen Forever Conference.

  1. I think this is proof positive that our industry is in great shape! Interesting that X Factor is in, but The Voice is not. Family Feud in; but The Project with many production elements is overlooked. Like AACTA and Logies, there are always oversights.
