UnREAL coming to SBS
Acclaimed reality satire that takes aim at a Bachelor-style show has been picked up by SBS.

Good news for Free to Air viewers wanting to see acclaimed US satire UnREAL -it has been picked up by SBS.
The series about ruthless producers behind a Bachelor-style show has premiered in Australia on Stan to rave reviews.
C21 reports SBS has acquired the broadcast rights for the A+E Network show. While no airdate is confirmed, it would most-likely be a 2016 title.
SBS has previously aired Israeli-US series Dig, which also premiered on Stan.
A second series of UnREAL is due on Stan in mid-2016.

I remember Constance Zimmer (who looks hot by the way) on Boston Legal really enjoyed her on that. I will give this ago didn’t watch it on STAN but if i keep watching it on SBS i might watch season 2 on STAN. Looking forward to this.

SBS did show the ‘ Big Brother’/zombie satire Dead Set as well as some of their foreign language films that critique the genre, so it fits their profile.

While it would have made sense for Nine to show this given their ownership in STAN, I can see why they wouldn’t do it. While unREAL does poke fun at a bachelor type show, it says a lot about all reality shows
