  1. Watched The Bachelor on 10 and enjoyed it. Sam is a decent guy 🙂
Recorded old series of New Tricks on GEM and watched after Bachelor.

Fantastic to see that weekday episode of the Bachelor can trash Winner announced and Final of The Hotplate. Should send a message to 9 not to copy other channels flagship programmes. 🙁

When 10 tried that with the Block copy, 3 to 4 years ago it failed for 10. It was also a bit too TAFE like and viewers killed it off very quick. Yes us viewers can vote with our remote controls 🙂

  2. Skydancer, I agree with you. It was a crap night on TV. The only show worth watching was Utopia, and that was borderline. The sooner they get rid of the Bachelor rubbish and Hotplate rubbish the better. Oh I see the HP has finished – good.

    • There is more to come from The Bachelor franchise this year. The Bachelor isn’t rubbish at all. I don’t think it was that bad at all. Explain why the country is hooked on The Bachelor?

      • William please refrain from saying ‘the country’ is hooked on The Bachelor….it is so not true..there are many, many of us who will not watch such drivel.

        • I agree with William. It is a relaxing fun show and when they use a decent guy as the Bachelor, then viewers like watching it and the associated eye candy as well of course.
That kind of show is good for younger people to learn about various character types that they are bound to meet during their lives. Don’t like it – change channels or video recorder perhaps. That is what we do.
Looking forward to The Bachelorette Sam later this year 🙂

    • Don’t feel sorry for you guys. We have 5 main free to air channels, each of which have their own additional channels. Plus they they have their own catch up services. Then there’s Netflix, Presto, Stan, Foxtel. Don’t forget the internet, YouTube. If you can’t afford a subscription service or the internet, go to your local library and grab some DVDs.

  3. Crap night on TV, i read a book. fame deprived desperadoes who think they can cook and a bunch of desperate women locked in a prison style house fighting over a man do not interest me in the slightest.
