Blindspot becomes the first drama of the US Fall season to win a full series.

More news on new US dramas due in Australia.

NBC has picked up an nine additional episodes of Blindspot.

The drama, starring Aussie Sullivan Stapleton, becomes the first full-season order among new Fall dramas.

Both of the first two episodes grew by 4.6 million US viewers in Live +3 viewing, the biggest increase of any show on broadcast or cable.

Seven is yet to announce a premiere date for the series.

Meanwhile sci-fi series Minority Report has had its initial 13-episode order trimmed to just 10.

The FOX drama premiered to 3.1 million viewers but by the third episode had slipped to 2 million viewers.

Based on the Tom Cruise movie of the same name, it is expected to air in Australia on TEN.

  1. It’s a trend to try and exploit existing brands in the hopes that somebody might checkout your show.

    Fairly easy to extend Limitless, just have another guy taking the drug with Cooper in a cameo supporting part.

  2. Is this a trend now tv shows based of movies I mean I haven’t seen limitless the show but I might need a re watch but I don’t think the movie let room for a sequel or tv show could be wrong haha
