EXCLUSIVE:
Former Endemol CEO Janeen Faithfull is to join the Nine network.
Faithfull, who resigned from the production company in April, ahead of its merger with Shine Australia will be a consultant across a range of aspects of the business, working closely with Director of TV Michael Healy and Managing Director Programming and Production Andrew Backwell.
She was CEO at Endemol when the company produced The Hot Plate, but while there are whispers of another season to now be produced internally, Nine is yet to confirm this. Prior to Endemol she was Head of Content and Rights Management at Seven.
Trent Chapman, formerly Head of Production and Development at Endemol is already overseeing production of the second season of Married at First Sight.
Meanwhile Endemol drama project Tips for Married Life, which was in development for Nine, is not proceeding.
The drama was to be produced by John Edwards and Mimi Butler, described as “A grieving career wife has to wise up and fight for survival when she finds herself responsible for her dead husband’s criminal debts and wrongdoings.”
Nine had not announced the drama as going into production.
