Hands up who really believes this story?

The Good Wife‘s Julianna Margulies says there is no feud with her former co-star Archie Panjabi. At least not on her side there isn’t.

Speaking at the New Yorker Festival on Sunday she said, “Right, I’ve heard about [the feud]. Who says that? It’s totally gossip.

“I heard that question had been asked to (writer) Robert King. There’s no story there, sorry … I actually had heard (that rumour) and I feel that it has been talked about and answered. I feel people just like to have gossip or make something into something that isn’t there. There’s no animosity on my part. It’s a shame, because I wonder if it was two men, when one finds out that he f***ed his best friend’s wife, if it would get that same attention, you know what I mean?

“It was shot the way Robert wanted to shoot it, and the story line, too,” she said. “You also have to remember, there’s difficulty … (Panjabi) was also doing another show, called The Fall. I went along with whatever Robert asked me to do and I did it happily.”

But Panjabi has since taken to Twitter, adding fuel to the gossip fire:

On the question of why the two actresses had not shared scenes together for 2 years, Panjabi has previously said:

“I think that’s a question you need to ask the producers.”

  1. Julia’s comments don’t make much sence and she seems to be trying to deflect things by making gender an issue. Questions would be raised in the same way if it were two males that were previously close co-stars but hadn’t shared a scene in two years etc…

  2. I’m sure TV is full of actors (of both genders) that don’t like each, but, as professional actors, they just don’t what they have to do….getting to the point where these two couldn’t even share scenes is very bizarre.
