Another look at which new US shows will fare best tips good news for Limitless and Blindspot -both shows air in Australia on TEN and Seven respectively.

It does differ from an earlier list.  At least both are agreed Blood & Oil ranks low.

Blood and oil was truly awful, haven’t seen a pilot that bad in a very long time.
These figures will help predict where they shows will end up by ep 3 when they tend to stabilise.
Limitless’s figures will have been boosted by the Bradley Cooper cameos.
But it will revenue, relative to other shows on the network, that determines their fate. That is mostly average 18-49s, plus probability of making it to syndication plus other revenue to producers like streaming, OS sales.
Grandfathered and The Grinder may have held their audience reasonable very well, but it was still very small. But since everything on Fox (except Empire) is doing a poorly its a lottery as to which shows survive.
I quite like Limitless, it’s actually quite light and fun, but Blindspot is very pretentiously shot, with close-ups and shaky cam getting in its own way.
