Opera House ‘rotting hand’ greets Walking Dead fans

A 4 metre rotting hand greeted Walking Dead fans at yesterday's attended advance screening.

Walking Dead fans were greeted by a giant rotting hand on the steps of the Sydney Opera House when they attended advance screenings yesterday.

The 4 x 2.9 metre hand, as part of the 2015 GRAPHIC Festival, and an “ice scream” stall helped promote the launch of the sixth season and a #TWDonFX social media campaign by FX.

Fan Kim Roberts said, “We had a great time! The walkers were great. And the episode was fantastic – great start to the season!”

The Walking Dead returns at 1.30pm today on FX.
