The Channel Nine Telethon will broadcast live across Queensland from 7.00pm tomorrow night on both Nine and WIN Television.

Nine’s Melissa Downes and Andrew Lofthouse will also host a Countdown to the 2015 Channel Nine Telethon special from 5.30pm, live from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Channel Nine Queensland Managing Director, Kylie Blucher, said: “Tomorrow’s telethon is all about our kids and raising much needed funds to help these precious people feel better and get well. We want Queenslanders to dig deep and help us reach our goal of $10 million, which I know we can do.”

Queenslanders can call 1800 909 900 or visit www.9telethon.com.au to donate to our State’s sick and injured children and watch as fundraising goes into overdrive, with 150 volunteers manning the phones at The Sunsuper Contact Centre in Milton.

There are 65 sporting and television celebrities confirmed to man the phones during the live broadcast, taking calls and donations to help the telethon reach its target of raising $10 million for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is the official charity of Children’s Health Queensland, the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, the Centre for Children’s Health Research, and for all sick kids throughout Queensland.

7pm Saturday, October 17 on Nine and WIN Television.
