Seven will again televise the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour from start to finish in February after nearly 400,000 tuned in on Seven and 7mate this year.

Seven’s Head of Sport Saul Shtein, said: “We are delighted to once again be the broadcast partner of this great event. We have a long and deep connection with Mount Panorama over the past five decades and look forward to working with the event, the teams and the drivers to build on the success of the 12 Hour.”

Event Director John Casey said, “To have the full 12 hours of the race shown live across the Seven Network is a great result for fans and all our partners who make this event possible.

Further details regarding broadcast coverage and commentary team will be confirmed closer to the event date.

  1. That “nearly 400,000” who tuned is metro+regional. Standard 5-city metro was 238,000.

There won’t be a clash of events next year as Supercars Events acquired the rights to manage it from 2016.

  2. Yes, that was a strange weekend in February when that was on Seven. At the same time motor racing was on TEN and you could flick between both channels and get almost identical programming.
