Stan acquires Deutschland 83

Stan has picked up the rights to German thriller series Deutschland 83.

The eight-part series deals with the threat of nuclear conflict in the 1980s and follows a 24-year-old East German man who is sent to West Germany to gather intelligence on the placement of nuclear missiles.

The series, which airs in German, has won glowing reviews and been sold to 20 global broadcasters.
