Telstra TV launch includes Presto offer

Telstra TV is offering a free three-month trial of Presto as part of its launch.

prestoTelstra TV launches today to its broadband customers, at a price of $109 (free with Telstra’s L or XL internet bundles).

It arrives at the same time as the new Apple TV confirms its Australian pricing of 32GB for $269 or 64GB for $349.

Telstra TV, using a Roku device, will include Netflix, Presto, SBS on Demand, Plus7, 9JumpIn. Other apps include YouTube, Red Bull TV, Awesomeness TV, Wall Street Journal, GoPro, Vimeo, Crunchy Roll, Dropbox and Roku Media Player.

In addition, Telstra is offering a free three-month trial of Presto. It is also unmetered on Telstra TV.

Telstra is also hoping to bundle a subscription to all three major streaming services, with Stan expected “soon.”
