Actor pleads guilty to child sex charges

Actor Jeremy Kewley has pleaded guilty to more than 15 child-sex charges in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.

Fairfax reports he pleaded guilty to charges including performing an indecent act with a child under 16, indecent assault and making and possessing child pornography.

Some 100 other charges were dropped.

Kewley has appeared in the TV shows Janus, Stingers, Underbelly, Fat Tony & Co. and numerous drama series, as well as audience warm-ups for shows including The Footy Show, The Marngrook Footy Show and the AFI Awards.

He has been released on bail pending a plea hearing in March.
