Airdate: Hunt for the Tasmanian Tiger

Next month Animal Planet will premiere a two part special, Hunt for the Tasmanian Tiger.

By the looks of this photo these blokes have been looking for a long time.

The Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine) has been extinct since 1936. Nearly 80 years on, three intrepid scientists, Chris Coupland, Warren Darragh and Bill Flowers, are setting out on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to explore the possibility that the Tasmanian Tiger may still exist. Part of the Thylacine Research Unit (T.R.U.), this group of researchers are putting their bodies and their reputations on the line in their search for the truth.
