Australian showrunner Shane Brennan, who runs NCIS: LA for CBS, has sold two new drama projects.
He will co-executive produce Freeman for CBS and Bob The Valkyrie for The CW, both with Grant Anderson.
Freeman, written by Dustin Lee Abraham (CSI, How High), centres on an Oakland parole officer with a checkered past who tries to “make the bad guys good again” and keep former inmates from being sent back to prison.
Bob The Valkyrie, written by Matt Greenberg (1408, Ring Of Fire), focuses on a new kind of valkyrie -a chauvinistic “dude-bro,” who must learn to fight evil while getting in touch with his feminine side.
Brennan also has other projects in the pipeline, The Expendables with Sylvester Stallone, and New Moon with Ian McDonald.
