The last ever CSI, a 2 hour telemovie, will air on Nine later this month, bringing the long-running series to a close.

Former stars including William Peterson and Marg Helenberger return to farewell the hit procedural after 15 seasons in “Immortality.”

It screens on Nine at 9pm Monday, November 23rd.

This leaves the last remaining instalment in CSI franchise as CSI Cyber.

The finale is set on the unrelenting Las Vegas strip. When a bomb is found in a casino, Grissom and Willows must work out how it got there and how to disarm it as the whole city is sent into chaos, testing the entire CSI squad.

Original favourites William Peterson and Marg Helenberger will return and be joined by current and past stars Ted Danson, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, Paul Guilfoyle, Wallace Langham, David Berman, Elisabeth Harnois and Jon Wellner, with Melinda Clarke also making her return as Lady Heather.

For 15 years the flagship CSI crime drama has built a cult following from fans around the globe, resulting in the success of three spin-off series. Viewers have been compelled by the gritty cases and intricate forensic science that inevitably becomes the evidence needed to close the cases.

CSI has redefined the crime genre and been a staple drama series in many countries, regularly winning Emmy Awards and Golden Globes. This finale telemovie is one not to be missed.

  1. Thank you Nine for showing the final season – including it’s telemovie – in one stint. Yes we are all still annoyed you pulled the series after episode four of the season and gave us a 6 month hiatus, but at least the remainder of the season has been uninterrupted. But for once in my life I’m actually a little annoyed about it given if they had held out a couple more weeks we would have been able to see the final episode in HD >.<

  2. I have never watched a single episode of CSI of any flavour. I couldn’t take ten minutes of the first episode, and expected it to be cancelled quickly. As procedurals go, it’s always been horrible. I am stunned at its longevity.
