Actors making cameos to mark the anniversary include: Stephen Nichols, Alison Sweeney, Peter Reckell, Thaao Penghlis, Martha Madison, Tamara Braun and Camila Banus.
Alexander Bruszt, winner of Foxtel’s ‘Search for a Star’ competition will also make his debut on November 13 in the role of Fynn, a “handsome, rugged Australian doctor who arrives in Salem to do his residency, specifically to gain skills as a surgeon, working under the supervision of Doctor Jonas” (Shawn Christian). Bruszt has already had his role in the soap extended by producers.

Love this show. A lotta good shows are having their 50th anniversary. Glad Days is still going.
Have never been a DOOL fan, but I’ve been watching since the murder storyline commenced. I’m hooked!
It has actually been really good at the moment!!
So great that we can see it
So glad that Foxtel brought it back
Now all we need is General Hospital.
From what I understood, General Hospital’s figures were always quite low to sustain a future on Foxtel, regardless of its fan base.
