UK X Factor co-host Olly Murs accidentally told contestant Monica Michael she was going home, when he really should have announced the two acts were in a Deadlock vote.

At least it wasn’t as bad as Sarah Murdoch on Australia’s Next Top Model who made a similar boo-boo -at the show’s all-important grand final.

After the Deadlock, Monica went home anyway.
