What a brilliant idea…..

Q&A will stage a special edition with a panel of Film & TV experts, before delegates of the Screen Forever conference in Melbourne.

The special event will take place at 2pm Tuesday November 17 as part of the opening of the annual producers conference.

Tom Ballard will host the event, tackling the future of media content and the rapidly changing landscape facing Australian and international producers

Panel guests are:

Dana Brunetti, President, Trigger Street Productions
Fiona Cameron, Chief Operating Officer, Screen Australia,
Holly Hines, Senior Vice President, Content, Dynamic Television,
Russel Howcroft, Executive General Manager, Network TEN,
Jenni Tosi, Chief Executive Officer, Film Victoria
Sarah Snook, stage, television and film actress.

The session will include audience interaction, real time Twitter feed and is specially designed for the Screen Forever audience of Australia’s top producers, distributors, financiers and media executives, as well as international guests.

“It’s a terrific coup for Screen Producers Australia to have one of Australia’s top programs opening the conference. Media is an alive topic at the moment and Q&A is the perfect forum to debate some of the most important topics affecting our industry,” said Matthew Deaner, CEO, Screen Producers Australia.

“As always, this Q&A will be unpredictable, but we expect it to range from the future of media content, regulation and piracy, online vs broadcast, global trends, next generation media influence and the global marketplace.”

At this stage ABC advises there are no plans to make this available to a wider audience beyond the conference, which would be a terrible shame. Online or News 24 please!

Delegates registered for Screen Forever are invited to submit their questions for consideration care of [email protected], by 5pm AEST on Wednesday 11 November.

  1. Just wanting to clarify that I read correctly on the newsletter today that this event isn’t going to be screened on the abc? Is there time for them to reconsider as its not happening till Nov 17?

    1. Haven’t watched it in a while maybe a month or two but will watch this. There really really needs to be some discussion tv and other media content in this country.

Hopefully those delegates have some really good questions because I have a heap of questions I would like to hear the answers to.
